| Trudy has explored a wide range of weaving techniques including traditional forms, patterned after early American styles including plain weaves, satin weave, twill, and overshot. She has applied Ikat (resist dying yarns by wrapping in tape) to both warp and weft faced designs.
Her tapestrys include many different weaving methods including soumak, knotting, and twining. She has also played with more free form sculptural forms.
